Hi friends!

My name is Andrea, or Mrs. Herrada, and I am the creator and owner of educatinglittleminds!

I developed this space in hopes of helping:

Currently, I am on a leave of absence from the classroom for a year while I accomplish educational feats and spend more time with my personal children. I will be a fifth year intermediate 4th grade self-contained teacher at an IB Magnet school when I return. 

In the last 10 years I have gained experience working in the field of education from grades pre-k through 6th in various capacities: afterschool camp counselor, nannying, tutoring, and teaching!

I look forward to sharing my learning experiences throughout the field of education while also sharing the resources and tools that I haved created or I absolutely love to use!

I really hope to connect with fellow educators and/or families that seek advice or tips about learning through my teaching blogs, social media posts and emails.
